Transom Assembly

Bellows:

• Inspect annually for cracks, stiffness, or leaks

• Replace proactively every 3–5 years depending on use and environment

Gimbal Bearing:

• Inspect annually for noise or vibration (especially when turning)

• Replace proactively every 3–5 years or immediately if noisy/rough

Anodes:

• Inspect annually for heavy pitting

• Replace once 50% consumed. Frequency based on storage and environment

Lower Shift Cable:

• Inspect annually for stiffness or sheathing wear

• Replace proactively every 3–5 years with other drive removal service

Outdrive

Gear Oil:

• Drain & fill annually or every 100 hours

• Replace vent and drain seals with every service

Water Impeller:

• Monitor if engine operates in normal temperature

• Replace proactively every 2-3 years depending on use and environment

Propeller Shaft:

• Inspect and grease propeller shaft annually or every 50 hours

Universal Joint / Shaft Spline:

• Inspect and grease annually or every 300 hours
