Orders & Shipping

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Carriers may experience delays, routing errors, or extended transit times. While Smart Boat Parts cannot control carrier performance, we will assist you through the process and help resolve the issue as efficiently as possible..

When a shipment is considered “lost”

  • UPS / FedEx: typically after 10 days

  • USPS: typically after 15 days

Once the carrier officially marks the shipment as lost, we will send a replacement at no additional cost

Damaged Shipments

If a package arrives with visible carrier‑documented damage, we will ship a replacement immediately.

If damage is discovered after delivery:

  • Notify us as soon as possible

  • Include photos of the packaging and product to help us expedite the claim and replacement

Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows Delivered but the package is not in your possession:

  • Report the issue within 2 days of the delivery scan

  • Smart Boat Parts is not responsible for theft after delivery, and most carriers do not insure against porch theft

  • We will assist with a carrier trace, but replacements or refunds cannot be guaranteed in cases of theft

Incorrect or Invalid Address

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided at checkout:

• The order is not eligible for a refund unless the package is returned to our warehouse

• Return‑To‑Sender tracking must show “Delivered” back to us

• Once received, we can reship the order (additional shipping charges may apply) or issue a refund per our return policy

Order Cancellations

Orders move quickly through our system, cancellations are not possible once a tracking number has been assigned.

If you no longer want the item after it has shipped:

  • Allow the package to be delivered

  • Initiate a return through our standard return process

  • A refund will be issued once the item is received and inspected
